Leicester Art Zone Gallery

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the usual quaterly LAZ exhibitions will now be happening twice a year. The next Exhibition opening date and artists painting competition will be open from 1st July till 29th July 2022.

The theme of this competition is free. You can submit any kind of paintings with any mediums including oil, acrylic, pencil sketching etc. Anything that is artistic! Paintings must be submitted anonymously, so if there is any evidence of markings on work that could link it back to someone, the work will be disqualified.

Deadline: To enter you must submit your work any Monday or Friday before Friday 3rd; 6th; 10th and 17th June from 10 till 1pm at St. Martin House, 7 Peacock Lane, Leicester, LE1 5PZ. Please refer to our usual opening hours on Monday and Friday when coming to submit your work. .

The Competition starts at 11.00am and is followed with Exhibition opening ceremony. And the Exhibition will stay open all the way up until 31st of July 2022.

If you would like your artwork back after the exhibition you will need to come and collect it after the exhibition ends on the following weeks at St. Martin House, Leicester LE1 5PZ. We open on Monday (10.00-16.00) and Friday (10.00-13.00). We will keep it for two weeks from 1st - 13 August 2022. If you do not come and collect your artwork at the arranged times, we unfortunately will not be able to keep it.

All artists in the Leicester and Leicestershire area are welcome to participate and the winner will be chosen independently by people who have no entered the competition.
