Daily news from our art classes needs to be updated on our official website and social media sites.

A web designer/developer should:

  • have skills in software programming and graphics

  • have creativity and imagination

  • be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques

  • have good interpersonal and communication skills

  • keep up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment

 

Are you good with any of the following:

Taking photographs?

Editing pictures?

Can you use social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google + ?

Do you have around 6hrs per week?

 

Welcome and Refreshments Service
Job position - Voluntary

 

We are seeking a warm and welcoming volunteer to join our friendly team to welcome new and existing people into our sessions at LAZ and serve refreshments. 

 

You should be able to:

  • Welcome enthusiastically and maintain a welcoming atmosphere

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness

  • Follow Food Safety Policy. Follow Health & Safety policy to create a safe place to work
     

Are you good with meeting people? 

Are you good serving drinks and refreshments?

Are you attentive to cleanliness and hygine?

Do you have around 8hrs per week?

 

 

Secretary
Job position - Voluntary

You should be able to:

  • Manage diaries and make appointments

  • Take phonecalls and answer any queries

  • Book rooms and sort travel arrangements if necessary

  • Hold meetings, take minutes and draft letters (have some knowledge in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Maintain filing systems 

Adminstrator
Job position - Voluntary

 

This post will available to Leicester Art Zone members only, so to apply for this position you will need to apply for membership first.

 

You will be in charge of the gallery, accounting, and training functions. For example, interviewing, hiring, training, and assessing art students, developing budgets, financial reports and office supplies/resources.

 

You should be able to:

  • Manage office equipment

  • Maintain an enjoyable and clean working environment

  • Manage and coordinate meetings if necessaey

  • Handle internal or external communication
