Trip to National Gallery in London
The National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of paintings in the world. We decided to make a trip to London to see some of the earliest paintings. We saw art from the 13th to the 15th centuries as well as Leonardo Da Vinci's Madonna.
We didn't have much time but the time we did have was absolutely marvelous. We were dazzled by the museum; there was so much to see at the National Gallery that you could easily spend the whole day there. The building itself was beautiful - full of amazing art and not too overcrowded for a weekend. The gallery was laid out well and there were plenty of seats if you needed a rest.
We would definitely go again as there is much more to see. For instance there's the gallery of 16th to 18th century work, as well as Monet's Water Lillies. There are so many beautiful paintings available for viewing, and the best part is that the entry is free!
