Rainbow Art Project
This project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the painting class is held every Monday at 13.00-16.00 at St Martins House. There is a friendly, calming atmosphere where people are free to express themselves through art. Individuals are given the opportunity to learn and improve their painting skills, whilst socialising and supporting each other. The funding from the Big Lottery Fund has not only helped many people significantly improve their painting skill, but has also given people of different backgrounds a place of peace and sanctuary; providing a joyful environment for refugees and asylum seekers, the elderly, and disabled. We are hugely grateful to the Big Lottery Fund for allowing us the opportunity to reach out to the community in this way.
